As the challenges associated with COVID-19 continue to evolve, all University-sponsored events with 50 or more attendees have been suspended effective immediately, which includes SpringFest 2020. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you.

Spirit Contest Registration Information

Are you ready to show your Cougar Pride for this year’s SpringFest Spirit Contest? This year’s contest will have two categories: Student Organizations and Fraternity/Sorority Life organizations. The organization with the most points in each category will win a $300 prize and second place will receive $200. Sign up today to show your SIUE spirit!

Registration is due Sunday, April 14 by 11:59 PM. No registrations will be accepted after that date and no deadline extensions will be given! The events listed below are not the only events Springfest has to offer, these are just the events open to all student participants.

Monday, April 22

Kickoff: Camels & Kettle Corn
Dunham Field
11:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
"Enjoy camel rides, free kettle corn, win promotional prizes, and learn more about the upcoming week of events!"

Wings & Trivia (Co-sponsored by: Student Government)
MUC Meridian Ballroom
7:00 p.m.
"Enjoy some wings while you put your Game of Thrones knowledge to the test! As part of Earth Week, Student Government will be giving away fanny packs along with presenting tips on how to make your everyday habits more eco-friendly. Complete the 2019 Wings & Trivia Registration Form on Get Involved to sign-up."

Tuesday, April 23

This event will be a phone-free experience. Use of cellphones, smart watches, smart accessories, cameras or recording devices will not be permitted in the performance space.

Upon arrival at the venue, all phones and smart watches will be secured in Yondr cases that will be opened at the end of the event. Guests maintain possession of their phones at all times, and can access their phones throughout the show at designated Phone Use Areas in the venue. All phones will be re-secured in Yondr cases before returning to the performance space. Guests are encouraged to print their tickets in advance to ensure a smooth entry process.

Anyone seen using a cellphone during the performance will be escorted out of the venue. We appreciate your cooperation in creating a phone-free viewing experience.
