What We Do
The Budget Office is tasked with developing and forecasting the University’s budget, tracking and reporting budget-to-actual performance and providing strategic financial guidance to senior University leaders to help achieve institutional goals. Our primary focus is to deliver accurate, timely financial data that supports informed decision-making at the highest levels.
Additionally, the Budget Office oversees and develops SIUE’s submission for the annual SIU System Budget Book, the University’s annual submissions for the Resource Management Allocation Program (RAMP) to the Illinois Board of Higher Education (IBHE), budget requests to the Governor’s Office of Management & Budget (GOMB), and Illinois State Legislative (ISL) requests from legislative staffers, along with various other requests from the SIU System Office, SIU Board of Trustees, and other state agencies as requested.
