About the Program

The Liberal Studies Program is an opportunity for the student to propose an interdisciplinary program of studies that is not currently available as a major with existing SIUE curricula. This degree has the distinction of expecting students to design, within BLS curriculum parameters, an individualized baccalaureate degree intended to be so very unique that no other existing major will satisfy the student's educational goals.
