Geography trains students for careers in a wide variety of fields, and the job market has been consistently strong for our majors whether they stay in the St. Louis area or venture far beyond. According to the US Department of Labor, the average salary for Geographers in the US is $72,800, and the job outlook for geospatial technologies is especially strong with the US Department of Labor reporting an annual job growth rate of 35 percent.
