Opera's drunkest characters will help us toast our 5th anniversary with musical excerpts of famous operas, and our guest artists will kick off the holiday season with festive favorites and classic carols!

Opera Edwardsville (OE) returns to the SIUE Arts & Issues series for the second time, welcoming spectacular guest soloists, including soprano Amanda Majeski, mezzo soprano Emily Fons, and tenor Jonathan Johnson, in a program of opera's greatest hits alongside holiday favorites, accompanied by OE's pianist and Artist-in-Residence, Joseph Welch. OE founder and tenor Chase Hopkins makes a special guest appearance in celebration of OE's 5th anniversary. A champagne toast and artist meet-and-greet is planned immediately following the performance for all ticket holders.
