Overview
As data analytics reshapes the accounting profession, SIUE’s AACSB-accredited MSA in Business Analytics prepares you to lead that transformation. You’ll build expertise in accounting analytics, database management, forensic accounting, and data visualization — applying tools like SQL, AI-assisted analysis, and audit analytics software to real-world accounting problems. Graduates are also prepared to sit for the CPA Exam in Illinois and most other states and, through SIUE’s partnership with the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA), have the opportunity to complete the IIA Internal Audit Academic Program — a distinction available at only a select number of universities nationwide.
