Dear University Community,
SIUE has partnered with Genetworx to implement mandatory re-entry COVID-19 testing for January 2021. In the next few days, you will receive an email from Aura (info@auratracker.org). Aura is the software provider for Genetworx, our testing provider. If the email does not show up in your inbox, please check your clutter or junk folders.
All faculty, staff, and students (including those in University Housing), who engage in on-ground campus activity between January 4 and 21 are required to complete a mandatory re-entry Covid-19 screening test.
- Individuals are expected to test regardless of how brief or intermittent the campus contact is.
- Individuals are expected to complete their screening test within 48 hours following their first arrival to campus. You are not required to complete the campus provided test prior to your first time on campus.
- For example, if you are returning to work on January 4, you can schedule to complete the test on January 4 or January 5.
- If you are picking up your textbooks on January 11, you are expected to schedule your test on January 11 or January 12.
University Housing residents will also participate in pre-arrival testing and be required to obtain a test on their own in their local community prior to their spring arrival. Additional information can be found on the University Housing website.
School of Dental Medicine students, faculty and staff will receive additional information via email on setting appointments.
The Aura email will include a link to register for your Aura account. Students, faculty, and staff can access their Aura account using the Aura app, mobile phone, or a standard computer browser (Chrome is recommended for best performance). You will be required to set up a password for your Aura account. Aura is not tied to the University e-ID system and the passwords do not have to match. After creating your Aura account, follow the steps below to complete the registration and sign up for your testing timeslot:
- Log-in and provide demographic information.
- Provide health insurance information (if applicable).
- Select Collection Site (SIUE)
- Select from list of available timeslots for testing appointment.
- Please contact support@auratracker.org with any technical issues or questions.
You are required to pre-register and have an appointment to get a screening test. Including your insurance information which will help us contain costs.
This scheduled screening is not for individuals experiencing COVID-19 or flu-like symptoms, or those with a known exposure (close contact) to COVID-19. Diagnostic testing for COVID-19 must be arranged through the individual's healthcare provider or SIUE Health Service for students.
Per CDC guidelines, employees and students who tested positive within the last 90 days are not required to be tested and should have reported through the self-disclosure form.
Students, faculty, and staff play a collective role in campus health and safety. Thank you for your ongoing efforts to keep our campus safe.
Happy Holidays!
