Pfizer Vaccine Clinic Friday, May 14th

Madison County Health Department is hosting a COVID vaccine clinic on campus for all SIUE faculty, staff, and students and the surrounding community ages 12 and older. The vaccine clinic will provide appointments for the first and second doses of the Pfizer vaccine. Pfizer is an mRNA vaccine and is considered 80% effective after the first dose. However, the completed series offers more than 90% effectiveness for prevention of infection.
Important Information:
- The clinic is May 14, 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. (closed during 12 – 1 p.m.)
- A photo ID with a birthdate is required for everyone, regardless of age.
- Parent or guardian (with proof of guardianship) if 12 – 17 years old
- If you are not an Illinois resident, proof of Illinois employment OR your SIUE Cougar Card is required.
- Masks are required.
- Vacation card for 2nd dose
- Individuals participating in the vaccine clinic will be permitted to park in Lot F.

- The vaccination clinic will be held at the SIUE Student Fitness Center.
Please Note:
- If you have ever had a severe allergic reaction (e.g. anaphylaxis) to ANY injectable medication or vaccine you are not eligible to register for these clinics. Please contact COVIDVax@co.madison.il.us for further instructions.
- You cannot receive the COVID-19 vaccine within 14 days of any other vaccines.
- If you are sick or are COVID-19 positive, please contact our department to reschedule your appointment.
