Dear Students:
SIUE is committed to the health and safety of our campus community by implementing measures to increase social distancing in response to COVID-19. As we continue to monitor and respond to rapidly changing developments, please find several important updates for members of the campus community:
- We know this is an uncertain time for many. While the Cougar Cupboard will be closed temporarily, students, staff, and faculty will be able to access food. Emergency boxes will be available for those in need while supplies last at the MUC Administration Office (1st floor). Pick up boxes on the dates below between 10:00am and 2:00pm by showing your active Cougar Card:
-
- Thursday, March 19
- Tuesday, March 24
- Wednesday 25
- Thursday, March 26
- University Housing will begin operating in a limited capacity. All current residents are expected to check out of their housing assignment. View the most current move-out instructions and details.
- Students are strongly encouraged to keep their textbooks for the duration of the semester; however, if you do not wish to keep your books, or you are moving to e-books through your faculty, here are the textbook return options.
- Many campus departments are working remotely and offering virtual services; please check department websites for details. Visit the COVID-19 website for the most updated announcements including revised schedules and facility adjustments.
We recognize there is a great deal of information and the situation remains ever changing. Please be patient and flexible as we navigate this difficult environment. We will continue to keep you updated. Thank you for your understanding; stay well.
