SIUE is committed to the health and safety of our campus community by implementing measures to increase social distancing in response to COVID-19. As we continue to monitor and respond to rapidly changing developments, please find several important updates for members of the campus community:
- The SIUE COVID-19 website will be the centralized location for campus announcements, adjusted campus operations, and frequently asked questions. Please check back regularly for updates and visit department websites directly.
- To clarify, courses that were originally scheduled for face-to-face or hybrid will become fully online or in distance/alternative format on March 23 through the end of the semester. Online courses should continue in accordance with their original schedule. Again, students in programs such as Dental Medicine, Pharmacy, Nursing, Teacher Education, and other programs with clinical or significant external placement requirements should work closely with their program directors, department chairs or deans.
- University Housing will begin operating in a limited capacity. All current residents are expected to check out of their housing assignment. View the most current move out information and instructions. Food will be made available for students needing to remain in University Housing.
We recognize there is a great deal of information, and the situation remains ever changing. Please be patient and flexible as we navigate this difficult environment. We will continue to keep you updated.
Thank you for your understanding and stay well.
