Dear Campus Community,
Welcome back for the spring 2022 semester. We hope your winter break was relaxing, and that you feel rejuvenated for the new year!
As we reassemble on campus, our re-entry testing protocol begins today. This testing period of Jan. 3-14 is being implemented with our campus community’s health and safety in mind.
Re-Entry Testing
Upon return to campus, students, faculty and staff, regardless of vaccination status, are expected to complete a SHIELD test on campus.
- Test must be completed within 5 days of arrival to campus, and individuals are encouraged to do so as soon as possible within that timeframe.
- Appointments are required and can be made by clicking this link.
- Edwardsville campus, please note the St. Clair Room location upon scheduling
- Re-entry testing expectations apply to all students, faculty, and staff who are learning, living, working or participating in on-ground activities.
- Students with a fully remote schedule as designated in CougarNet who will not be present on campus and employees who have an approved 100% remote work agreement from Human Resources are exempt.
- Approved exemptions for testing positive within the last 90-days are not required to test. Exemption requests can be made by clicking this link.
To accommodate the re-entry testing process, testing times, dates, and locations may differ from the standard SHIELD testing program. Please begin the appointment scheduling process to find exact times. Appointments are required.
