Safe Study Spaces
Indoor Spaces
In addition to study spaces that may be available in the residence halls, Student Success Center, Lovejoy library, and the University’s computer labs, the University has recently designated a number of classrooms in each of the academic buildings for use as student study spaces. These could be particularly useful for students with back to back synchronous and face to face courses.
The study rooms, which will have restricted seating that facilitates social distancing, are available to students on a first-come, first-served basis. Maximum room capacities will be indicated on or near to the entrance of each room. Student numbers should not exceed these capacities, and students are reminded of the need to both engage in social distancing practices and wear an appropriate face covering while in these study spaces.
