ACCOMMODATIONS

Most of the participants of the Third Conference on Function Spaces at SIUE will stay in the student Residence Hall. It is located near the center of the SIUE campus, in an easy walking distance from the cafeteria and the lecture halls.

The Residence Hall consists of 125 units with two bedrooms and a shared bathroom, where each bedroom has two twin beds. The cost is $23/person/night if two people share a bedroom (that is 4 occupants per unit) and $33/person/nigth with one person per bedroom (2 occupants per unit).

There are also several hotels in the area; however, since the SIUE campus is located at the center of a 2660 acre wooded area, no hotel is in a walking distance. Comfort Inn (3080 S. SR 157 Edwardsville, IL 62025; tel.: (618) 656-4900) is the closest one and is located at the intersection of HWY 157 and Interstate 270 approximately 2.5 miles from the center of the campus. The special rate for the SIUE guests is $49/night/room. There is no restaurant in a walking distance from the hotel.

There are also several hotels and restaurants in Collinsville, at the intersection of HWY 157 and Interstate 55, approximately 15 miles from the Campus.

If you wish to stay in the Residence Hall on the Campus please make reservation with  K. Jarosz by submitting an electronic registration form or writing to:

If you wish to stay in one of the local hotels please make reservation directly with the hotel. You may want to clik here for a list of the hotels/motels in Collinsville (from Yahoo).
