| A epic dramatized history of Southern Appalachia in Georgia focused around the life and writings of poet Byron Herbert Reece, the production was housed in a large three-quarter round country music hall. The setting was a very large multi-level playing space set in front of the concert stage and incorporating regional elements such as a split-rail fence and cabin porch. Constructed primarily of local materials, the setting also included three rear projection screens which showed both historical photos of Reece, as well as mountain images to supplement and reinforce the drama. |
