The world-premiere production was the winner of the first Utah State University Playfest. Spanning a twenty-year period, The Machine addressed the downfall of the Pendergast Political Machine in Missouri, through the eyes of the city Manager's daughter. Deception, organized crime, and terrorism are a few of the issues confronted from this era of dirty politicians.
