Music In Illinois

Dickinson - (ca. 1899-1961). One box, one scrapbook. The Katherine V. Dickinson collection consists of memoriabilia of the career of an Alton, Illinois, music teacher of the early twentieth century. The scrapbook contains such materials as the ms. constitution and by-laws of the Camerata Chorus, a ms. history of the society, minutes of meetings 1899-1918, recital programs of Miss Dickinson's pupils, 1900-1917, newspaper clippings relating to Camerata Chorus productions and activities, 1902-1920, letters from Miss Dickinson to members of the chorus, etc. An inventory of the Dickinson collection is located in the inventory binder.
