Written Progress Format

The following format is meant as an outline. Include all the information in an organized, logical manner. The format best suited to a particular design problem will depend on the exact problem. The progress report should be about 3 to 5 pages. Use your own creativity and judgement in laying out your report. Remember, effectively communicating your design ideas is of primary importance.

1. Title page (title, names, date, 404 lecture section number, group number, etc.)

2. Current Status - what is happening now, changes?, problems?

3. Work Completed - include all work done on project so far. Mark on schedule.

4. Current Work - Active tasks you are working on now

5. Future Work - Immediate future work, as well as all work that needs to be done to complete the project.
