Outdoor Thrills

If simple land and water excursions aren't enough for you, there are plenty of adrenaline thrills out there! But you have to be prepared. I assure you that these will be gut-wrenching, heart-pounding thrills unlike any you've ever done before. Some activities include:

Hang Gliding

Hang gliding is an airsport where the pilot flies a non-motorized aircraft that is made of light material. It is genuinely a smooth ride in the air, but be prepared for a rocky landing.

Bungie Jumping

For bungie jumping, a person will securely strap a bungie around both legs and jump from high altitudes such as off a brdige, cliff, or even helicopter! For bonus points, try to touch the water if you jump from a bridge.

Sky Diving

To skydive, a person is taken about 12,000 feet into the sky then proceeds to jump out of plane. Most times there is about a 60 second free fall. After this point, it is time to pull for the parachute and float smoothly down to the ground. For a list of skydiving spots in America, visit skydive.com.

Cliff Jumping

Just as it sounds, cliff jumping is jumping off a cliff. Most of the time the jumps are into a body of water. Just remember, don't look down!

Shark Cage Diving

Ever wanted to get up close in person with a great white shark? You can through cage divinng. In a scuba suit you will be dropped into the ocean inside a cage where sharks can be just inches in front of your face!

[Safety Tip!]

Adrenaline rushes and thrills can be fun, but make sure you are physically able to handle such pursuits! You should check with your doctor first if high elevations, falling, increased heart rate, etc. are within your capabilites. Also you are pregnant or have asthama, it would be a good idea to check with your doctor first if you should participate in any of these activities.
