August 2011: Ike Ohu presented his MS research at  35th Annual Meeting of the American Society of Biomechanics in Long Beach, CA

August 2011: Bharath Kishore joined Dr. Cho research group from fall 2011.

June 2011: Dr. Cho and his research team visited Institute of Minimally Invasive Surgery (IMIS) at Washington University in Saint Louis for collaborative research project sponsored by Intuitive Surgical Inc.

 

 

June 2011: Dr. Cho and his research team developed a manufacturing enterprise lab that is funded by NSF, called “CougaRoar”. The lab consists of the state-of-the-art equipment such as industrial robots, AS/RS system, automated conveyor, PLCs and RFID modules. Operation of this lab is available at YouTube

 

May 2011: Ike Ohu (Dr. Cho’s MS student) completed his MS thesis on May 2011. The title of his thesis is Motion Analysis of Simulated Minimally Invasive Surgery . He has been admitted to joint PhD program at SIUE starting from Fall 2011.  Congratulations!
