Alton Memorial Family Run
Race, Walk or Run for FUN
When: Saturday, June 13, 1998
Packet Pick-up and Registration 7:30- 8:30 am
Race Starts at 9:00 am
Where: Belk Park, Wood River, IL (across from the golf course)
Distance: 1/2 mile       14 - under
                     2 miles       15 -over
Cost: $2 for      14 - under
           $4 for      15 - over
Ribbons for 14 - under.
Everyone can enjoy doughnuts & juice by the lake after the race!

A Great Youth Run
When: Sunday, July 12, 1998
Packet Pick-up and Registration 6:45 - 7:45 am
Race Starts at 8:00 am
Where: Gordon Moore Park, Alton, IL (off Highway 140)
Distance:1/2 mile
Age Groups: 8- under
                         9 - 14
Cost: $2 for all runners
Prizes: T-shirts for all participants, Ribbons for all, Goodie bags for first 100, Raffle and Free refreshments.

Family Run &
Free Swim & Slide After Race!
When: Sunday, August 2, 1998
Packet Pick-up and Registration 5:30- 6:30 pm at Round House by the pool.
Race Starts at 7:00 pm
Where: Wood River Aquatic Center
Age Groups: 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-up
Distance: 1/2 mile       14 - under
                    1 mile          15 - over
Cost: $2 for      14 - under
           $8 for      15 - over
Awards & Prizes: Ribbons for 14 - under, Medals for top 3 male/female in each age group, T-shirts for first 100, 15 - adult. (14 - under may purchase t-shirts for $5)

NOTE:A summer full of fun and fitness for the entire family. Begin the summer by the lake with a family run or walk followed by delicious treats. Watch the kids run the 20th Annual Pee Wee Run and win prizes for all. End the Summer at the Aquatic Center in Wood River with another family run. Then stay to enjoy the pool and the water slide all for fun. All kids that enter and run all 3 runs will receive a special award at the end of the series. For information CALL 259-2261
