Jo Wottowa
Media Specialist - SIUE School of Education

Duties/Services Provided:
As Media Specialist for the SIUE School of Education, my daily responsibilities tend to focus primarily on three main areas:

  • Web Development: I am responsible for the maintenance and further development of the School of Education web site. Please feel free to contact me at anytime to submit changes, news stories, or upcoming events to the web site. The School of Education is dedicated to creating a web site that functions as a source of effective communication with current and prospective students, Alumni, and members of the community.

  • Media Production: While I primarily create media for the School, I am also available to assist in the production of print materials at the Department level or to assist with the needs of grants, committees, and/or special projects. Please do not hesitate to contact me with any graphic-related needs that may arise. I will be happy to offer my input and assist you in any way possible.

  • Faculty Development:  I serve on several technology committees and participate in initiatives that work not only to increasing the use of technology by School of Education Faculty, but to increase the level of technology that is available to them as well. If there are technologies that interest you, please let me know and I will be happy to act as a resource at whatever level you desire. From teaching specific skills to providing general overviews, I will be happy to assist in your technology-related development.
