"Professional Data"
I have been at Southern Illinois University since August, 1996. I provide undergraduate and graduate level course instruction.
I received my Ph.D. in Computer Science from Vanderbilt University in 1996. My research interests lies particularly in the areas of data base mining, machine learning, computer assisted medical diagnosis, and abductive logic. The title of my dissertation is Syndromic Abstraction: A method of exploiting domain structure to focus abductive reasoning in association based representations .
I also hold an MS degree in computer science from Vanderbilt University, a BS degree in computer science from the University of South Carolina, and a BS degree in nursing from Indiana State University. The title of my MS paper is A Qualitative Model of Electrocardiac Physiology (Tech. Report CS-90-14, Vanderbilt University).
