The Sandow Steam Electric Station Unit 5 RFID Trial

 

I have been involved in this project to assist David Grau (now an Assisant Professor at the University of Alabama) to conduct a three-month extensive field trial with Bechtel Corporation to investigate the impact of the RFID and GPS integrated material tracking solution on construction productivity. This project received the FIATECH 2007 CETI Award in the Intelligent and Automated Construction Job Site category. This field trial was part of the CII RT240 Leveraging Technology to Improve Construction Productivity research study.
