Louise Lebrun

What we know about the LEBRUN line from Tom's visit to Belgium

I have in my genealogy folder, and I don't know for sure where it came from, an official looking document, handwritten in French, which is signed: "Certifié conforme aux règistres de l L'Employé de l'Etat Cioil." The signature is nearly impossible to decipher, but looks like it might be "Louis Levy," or "Louis Lewy." This document shows the pedigree of Arthur Louis Nicholas Andris(se), my paternal grandfather and also carries the family tree of my paternal grandmother, Louise Lebrun, back three more generations. According to this document,

  • Ursmer Lebrun and Henriette Dumont were married in Binche, BE, 7/31/1811.
  • Ursmer Lebrun was the eldest of three brothers, Jean Charles Lebrun, born at Binche on 5/6/1791, and Louis Lebrun, born at Binche on 7/23/1796.
  • The final digit of the date of Ursmer Lebrun's birth is obscure, and could be a '4' instead of a '1'

I also have a document, handwritten in French, in my possession titled "Les 3 Genération de la famille Lebrun Everbee." This document was given to my brother, Tom, by Camille Lebrun, who as you can see below is a nephew of Louise Lebrun, my paternal great grandmother. By studying this document I have these comments:

  • My grandfather's name was probably spelled "Artur."
  • It may be that Louise Lebrun's father's name was "Louis," not "Léon."
  • The document also lists the children of M. et Mad. Jules Durink Lebrun, the children of M. et Mad. D. Durink Machard and the children of M. et Mad. J. Durink Derave. I cannot determine what relationship these people bear to the chart below.
