1) Some charge that Utilitarianism is wrong because it entails that the end justifies the means. Explain whether they are right or not and why. What could a Utilitarian reply?
2) For Kant, morality is universal and necessary. What does he mean by that? What consequences does he draw from it? Is he right? Discuss.
3) Explain Aristotle's notion of moral excellence and the main line of reasoning by which he arrives at it. (Make sure you substantiate your reading by providing copious references to the text). Finally, assess Aristotle's view.
4) Do you think that religion is necessary for morality? If so, why?
