The Biotechnology Education
Consortium
was begun at SIUE in the Science
Building on April 3 & 4, 1998. An enthusiastic team of 6-12th
grade teachers from various teaching disciplines came from 5 area high
schools to learn about new techniques
in biotech education.
A Summer Workshop
June 13-29, 2001 "Biotechnology Kit Development for
Middle/High School Sciences"
