as tentative, public,
replicable, probabilistic, historic, unique, holistic and empirical.
9B. Understands the definitions of hypotheses, predictions, laws, theories,
and principles and the
historic and contemporary development and testing of them.
9C. Understands research and reports examples of hypotheses, predictions,
laws, theories, and
principles, and valid and biased thinking.
9D. Understands the basis for safety practices and regulations in the
study of science.
