All science teachers will demonstrate competence in the core science
standards. In addition, all science
teachers will demonstrate competence in at least one of the science
designation areas: Biology,
Chemistry, Earth and Space Science, Environmental Science, and/or Physics.

tools and technology.
1E. Applies mathematical and statistical methods to collect, analyze,
and communicate results of
investigations.
1F. Displays, illustrates, and defends the results of an investigation.
1G. Uses evidence and logic in developing proposed explanations that
address scientific questions
and hypotheses.
