Just for Fun!

What I'm Listening to These Days

During the summer of 2011, I continued making headway in digitizing old cassette tapes.  Most of them were old band judge's tapes that I wanted to keep for sentimental reasons.  I also digitized a bunch of old "parking lot tapes" that I've made over the last 20 years from hanging out watching drum and bugle corps rehearse.  I also just bought John Coltrane's "Giant Steps" and a "best of" Chick Corea CD.

Recent Reads

During the summer of 2011, I read Abraham Maslow's Religion, Values, & Peak Experiences.  I also read H. S. Broudy's Enlightened Cherishing.  And, I read two books by Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi.  One was Flow:  The Psychology of Optimal Experience.  The other is Creativity:  Flow and Psychology of Discovery and Invention
