I taught this course during both Fall
2001 and Fall 2002. [Not sure when--or if--it will be
offered
again.] If this course is ever offered again, I'll broaden
beyond "instructional
design" theory and help you see other alternatives for
design. In
this course, you will learn about the mechanics of web design
and the pedagogy of
web-based learning, but the course mainly focuses on applying
learning theory to the
design of a web-based lesson or course. The course will be
taught as a design
studio.
