Getting an education has always been one of my top priorities. My attitude towards school generated from my parents giving me support and guidance. College has been a challenge, but so far I have been able to handle it well. I work hard to achieve the grades I have received in classes. Throughout college I have maintained above a 3.0 GPA. For the past 2 years I have been taking classes to help with my major, Speech Communication, and my minor, Political Science. Both of these fields catch my interest and I enjoy learning new things about them everyday.

Extracurriculars

In college, I have joined a few organizations that I felt would benefit me in the future. At the beginning of my sophomore year I decided to join Alpha Sigma Tau. This has easily been one of the best decisions of my life. Meeting so many brilliant girls has helped me grow as a person. I am now AST's Social Chair and have been putting on various events like mixers and formals for the past year.

Recently I have joined the PRSSA on campus. This organization highly benefits students who plan to work in the Public Relations field. Currently I am the secretary of the organization. My duties include taking notes at meetings, sending letters, and organizing paper work.
