How do I apply as an Assistant?

Applications for Fall 2013 URCA Assistantships are now available.

Students apply for URCA Assistant positions through this website. Click here for a complete listing of all Assistant positions that are available for the Fall 2013 semester. Students can apply to any position by clicking the "Apply Now!" button to the right of each position. This will open the student application form.

Students may apply for multiple positions, but a new application must be completed for each position.  Also, students are only allowed to accept one Assistant position per semester!  Once you’ve committed to one professor’s position, you are not allowed to accept another professor’s offer. 

Any undergraduate student who has a cumulative GPA of 2.3 or above and who will be enrolled as a full-time student (minimum of 12 credit hours) at SIUE for the entire Fall 2013 semester may apply.  Students are not allowed to hold both an URCA Assistant and an URCA Associate position at the same time. 

The deadline for student applications is Friday, July 12, 2013 at 4:00 p.m.!  Faculty must select students to fill their positions by Monday, August 19, 2013.  However, faculty may choose to fill their positions earlier, so students are encouraged to apply as soon as possible!  Positions that have been filled will be noted on the website.
