The Drimmer Family Collection began here as a group of objects transferred from the Lakeview Museum in Peoria, Illinois. Those objects had been donated by a couple who lived and worked in Peru from the early 1960s until the middle of the 1970s. Shortly after the transfer, we were approached by one of the six children of the original couple. He and his siblings had sought to donate pieces that they still had around to the Lakeview Museum only to learn that their parent’s pieces were now here.
We are currently cataloging this collection and we hope to make it accessible in the near future.
