An employee in any Open Range Civil Service or in a prevailing or negotiated classification, or an employee in a full-time Professional Staff position on a continuing contract, as appropriate, with no less than one year of consecutive employment with the university when the candidate picks up the Petition and the Statement of Candidacy form and is employed on the date of election, is eligible for nomination and election to membership on the respective USS Panels.
Nominations shall be made by approved petition form on which two employees have affixed their signatures from the appropriate constituency group.
Approved Petition for Candidacy forms shall be filed in person in the University Governance Office, Rendleman Building, Room 0103, on or before the deadline date stated in the Notice of Election.
