The SIUE Graduation Appeals Committee hears students' petitions to graduate even though they have not satisfied
all University graduation requirements. The committee hears only those cases involving University requirements
for a baccalaureate degree. Appeals relative to a major or academic unit requirement are made through the
Requests for waiver of general education requirements are made to the General Education Committee of the
Faculty Senate. Ordinarily, the Graduation Appeals Committee will give consideration to an appeal only if
there is tangible evidence that the matters at issue are of an unusual nature and that they have resulted from
conditions beyond the control of the student. Appeals are initiated through the Office of the Registrar.
March 25, 2015: There are no appeals this month; therefore the Graduation Appeals Committee meeting
scheduled for Friday, March 27th at 11:00 AM has been canceled.
August 11, 2015: A Graduate Appeals Committee meeting has been called for Friday, August 21, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. in the Registrar's Conference Room.
September 22, 2015: A Graduation Appeals Committee meeting scheduled for Friday, September 25th at 10:00 AM has been canceled.
September 29, 2015: The Graduation Appeals Committee meeting scheduled for October 30 has been rescheduled for Friday, October 9 at 10:30.
March 4, 2016: The Graduation Appeals Committee meeting scheduled for March 21, 2016 has been rescheduled for Wednesday, March 23, 2016 1:30 pm
April 13, 2016: The Graduation Appeals Committee meeting scheduled for Monday, April 18, 2016 at 1:30 PM has been cancelled.
July 19, 2016: The Graduation Appeals Committee meeting scheduled for Thursday, July 21, 2016 at 2:00 PM has been cancelled.
