SIUE Reverse Transfer Program
Students who have transferred from Southwestern Illinois College (SWIC) to Southern Illinois University Edwardsville without having completed an Associate Degree could opt into this program to transfer their SIUE credit back for review of the Associate Degree requirements.
To participate in this program, students would need to complete the Reverse Transfer Credit Form below. Upon completion of this form, SIUE would send the student's SIUE transcript back to SWIC for review. Once SWIC has reviewed the SIUE credit, they would determine if the student has met the requirements for the Associate degree. If the student has completed the Associate degree, SWIC will send an updated transcript back to SIUE for awarding a general education waiver. If the student is still deficient in meeting the Associate degree requirements, SWIC will communicate these deficiencies to the student.
To be eligible for the SWIC-SIUE Reverse Transfer Program, students must have transfered a minimum 36 credit hours from SWIC in fall 2017 or after, completed a minimum of 30 credit hours at SIUE, and completion of this form.
