The 2+2 Engineering Program allows students to obtain bachelor's degrees in civil engineering, computer engineering, electrical engineering, industrial engineering, manufacturing engineering, or mechanical engineering by attending an approved community college for two years and attending SIUE for two years. Upon completion of the requirements of both institutions, students will qualify for a Bachelor of Science degree in the appropriate discipline from SIUE.
The agreement also enables the exchange of student information between the two institutions to allow for accurate, efficient advisement and timely degree completion.
We value our community college partnerships and take great pride in continuing the tradition of excellence that our community colleges have provided with the hope that all institutions involved will have graduates that each institution can be proud of, and who will be assets to the engineering community.
