Tuition may be waived for no more than one summer term for a graduate student who has held an appointment as a graduate assistant for the full length of two consecutive semesters, beginning with the fall semester. The waiver must be used in the summer term immediately following the two consecutive semesters of service as a graduate assistant. Such waivers shall be used only when reappointment as a graduate assistant is not possible for the said summer term. The grant of such a waiver is subject to the approval of the Dean of Graduate Studies and Research.
