SIUE School of Pharmacy, in partnership with Saint Louis University, is now offering a Healthcare Information Systems certificate to PharmD and PharmD/MBA students and alumni. The certificate is offered online through the School for Professional Studies at SLU.
The online Health Information Systems certificate provides a background of information systems and technology, programming, database design, networking fundamentals, healthcare information systems terminology and IT systems for healthcare organizations.
This certificate is designed for those seeking to gain the tools necessary to succeed in the healthcare industry.
Students may either enroll in the SLU Certificate programs while they are enrolled in a PharmD or PharmD/MBA concurrent programs or following graduation as alumni.
Nine credit hours of transfer coursework will be accepted, if it is within 10 years of completion.
