Capstone Project

All SIUE School of Pharmacy students are required to complete a capstone project during their final year of pharmacy school.  The capstone project requires students to pull together knowledge gained throughout the program to either create a business plan or to develop and execute a research project.  Students’ projects are graded and are classified as exceeding expectations, meeting expectations or not meeting expectations.   The following table describes the number (%) of students in each category and the number (%) of capstone projects that were selected for publication or presentation at national, regional, or local venues for the past 5 years.
