SIUE has licensed Microsoft Office365 for students, faculty, and staff as a part of our Microsoft Campus Agreement. Last year, students were eligible to download and use Microsoft Office on personal computers. Starting today, this is available to active faculty and staff accounts.
We have also enabled a number of other services that you can start using today:
Additionally, we will be moving SharePoint sites into SharePoint Online. If you currently use SIUE SharePoint, information about this move will be posted on your SharePoint sites.
To access Office365, please use this link: http://office365.siue.edu You will need to use your full SIUE email address (NOT just your e-ID) and e-ID password to log in.
IMPORTANT: OneDrive and Office Online should not be used to store High-Risk or Confidential information without written justification and department director approval. If you have questions about the appropriate use and storage of protected health, financial, or student records please contact the ITS Help Desk.
In the coming weeks, we will begin migrating email and calendars into Office365. Additional information and schedule information about this change will be available soon.

The ITS Help Desk provides telephone and walk-in service for students, faculty, and staff for all information technology-related problems and questions. Many requests can be met immediately and service technicians are scheduled and dispatched for more complex issues.

Information Technology Services provides technology resources, user assistance and training, design and production services, and strategic planning in support of the teaching and learning, research, service, and administrative activities of the University.
ITS delivers a wide range of services such as desktop computing support, account and password assistance, virus protection and removal, software installation, and setup of peripherals and handheld devices.
ITS manages the University's complex computing, network, and telephone infrastructures, facilities such as labs, classrooms, and kiosks, equipment like printers, servers, and much more.
ITS also provides behind-the-scenes services such as information technology project management, response to technical emergencies and other incidents, as well as large-scale enterprise applications such as Banner, Blackboard, the University's Web presence, and email and calendar services.
In partnership with SIUE students, faculty, and staff, ITS plans new and expanded information technology services as well as the leadership necessary for the robust, reliable delivery of both academic and administrative services to the University community.
