StudyMate Class is a plug-in for Blackboard allowing faculty and/or students to create Flash-based study aids within a Blackboard course. Content can be manually created by the instructor alone, or by the students either alone or in groups. In addition, the instructor can import questions from Respondus pools and/or publisher test banks into StudyMate Class. Finally, instructors can set up StudyMate Class items for grading.

Please note that there are known issues with mixed content (http and https) being blocked in recent versions of Firefox and Chrome. The creation of StudyMate Class activities by instructors and/or students is impossible until mixed content is allowed. Please visit our Blackboard Known Issues page for more information and suggested workarounds.
StudyMate Author is a Windows application available only for instructor use. Unlike StudyMate Class, StudyMate Author places all responsibility for creating those Flash-based study aids upon the instructor. Those items can then be uploaded to Blackboard for student access.
