Clinical Assistant Professor

Job Description
Duties and responsibilities of this position will include, but are not limited to:

  • Providing vision and guidance within the area of Internal Medicine
  • Mentoring students and preceptors
  • Providing instruction in the professional degree program
  • Establishing a clinical practice in Internal medicine with a partnering health care institution to support the experiential program
  • Engaging in scholarly activities
  • Engaging in service (School, University, professional, community) to support the mission
  • Other duties as assigned 

Qualifications
Applicants for this position must possess the Doctor of Pharmacy degree (Pharm.D.) from an accredited U.S. school/college of pharmacy.  The individual must also have an active pharmacy license in the State of Illinois or be eligible for licensure in the State of Illinois.  Applicants must have completed at least one year of residency training (two years of residency preferred), or have equivalent experience. 

Terms of Appointment
Full-time, non-tenure track, (twelve-month) appointment July 1, 2014 through June 30, 2015 with possibility of renewal.
