Job Description/Responsibilities
The Laundry Worker I performs basic repetitive laundry tasks under the direct supervision of a higher level employee.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Collecting, unloading and sorting soiled linen.Sorting and straightening, cleaning, damp linen for finishing and pressing.
  • Operating automatic sheet spreading equipment.Manually folding and stacking linen, towels, and aprons etc.
  • Checking and following catering orders to ensure linens needed are ready for use at proper times.

The Laundry Worker I may be assigned additional related duties and responsibilities in support of the department’s mission and goals.
