This position is responsible for the development and maintenance of transfer articulation agreements with in-state and out-of-state colleges; tracking of students enrolled in dual admission and 2+2 programs; assessment of existing transfer programs; strategic development of new programs; development of web and community college advisement tools; coordination of student tracker communication for the purpose of recruiting/retaining transfer students; coordination of Illinois Articulation Initiative course submission and review procedures; interpretation of current University policies, state-wide practices and current legislation; participation in special projects and assigned committees; counsel students regarding academic curricula and application of transfer credit.
Baccalaureate degree from a regionally accredited institution and five years of related professional experience in registrar/records/admission or similar environment.
Strong reasoning, written, verbal, and PC skills required, including experience in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Demonstrated knowledge of transfer credit articulation practices. Experience with the Illinois Articulation Initiative is preferred.
Terms of Appointment
Full-time, continuing non-bargaining position.
