Curriculum Vita

 Prior to joining the SIUE faculty, Dr. Belasen was an Assistant Professor at Saint Louis University where he taught courses in Statistics, Managerial Economics, Microeconomics, and Macroeconomics.

Since joining the faculty, Dr. Belasen has received a funded research grant from SIUE which he has used to further develop his research interests in the fields of labor and demographic economics. His current research examines regional variations in labor force participation rates of women. He has also been active in measuring the impact of exogenous shocks in the labor market.
