The performance specialization is a diverse ensemble of faculty and students dedicated to building a dynamic learning environment and to creating exciting and evocative works of theatre.
The training program includes foundation classes in basic acting technique, character building and voice and movement techniques as well as upper level courses in multi-cultural and experimental performance, period styles and careers in acting. These core classes are supplemented by electives in Dialects, Comedy, Combat and the Meisner Technique. The program finishes with a Senior Assignment Showcase - a nationally recognized capstone project.
Our performance faculty have acted and directed in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Berlin and Prague. They bring professional and worldly experience, as well as passion to the classroom every day.
