Robert Kelley Raymond,B.M.,M.M (Piano and organ), earned his B.M. in Piano Performance from Webster University, and his Masters Degree in piano and organ performance, and a degree in Education from Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville. Mr. Raymond is a recognized Permanent Professional Certified Teacher of Music in Piano and Organ from the Music Teachers National Association, and has also served as Dean of The American Guild of Organists in Illinois. Mr. Raymond teaches organ on the University's 18 rank 15 stop Bosch Tracker Organ, and teaches piano students in the Keyboard Development Program. He serves as organist at First Presbyterian Church in Edwardsville. It is here where he coordinates and performs on an active recital series, giving solo recitals as well as accompanying instrumentalists. Mr. Raymond is a frequent adjudicator at area competitions and festivals, and is director of the Southern Illinois Young Artist Organization, designed to promote and encourage excellence in the arts through annual competitions. Some of Mr. Raymond's teachers have included pianists: Joanna Lange, Gail Delante, Daniel Schene, Jane Allen, Ruth Sleczynska, Linda Perry, and organists: William Partridge, Kathleen Thomerson, Nancy Ypma and John Near.
