Todd was appointed Director of Undergraduate Admissions at SIUE in October 2003. He oversees the areas of Admission Counseling, Undergraduate Admission Review and Processing, Communications, and New Student Programs and Campus Visit Programs, including Springboard to Success. Previously, he served as Associate Director of Admissions in the Office of Undergraduate Admissions at Saint Louis University. Prior to his role at Saint Louis University, he was Assistant Director of Admissions at Quincy University, his alma mater (1992), where he earned a bachelor of science degree in business management and a minor in theology.
Todd has served in the Illinois Association for College Admission Counseling since 1992, having served on the Executive Board from 2009-2014, holding the position of President from 2012-2013. Also, he has been in the Missouri Association for College Admission Counseling (MOACAC) since 1996, where he served on the Executive Board from 1998-2005, holding the position of President in 2003-2004. He holds membership in the National Association for College Admission Counseling as well as the American Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admission Officers. Also, Todd served as a member of the Illinois ACT Executive Council from 2006-2016 and he is a part of the Organization of Admission and Records Officers of State Universities of Illinois.
Todd is an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan, and big supporter of high school basketball, especially the Wooden Shoes of Teutopolis High School. He also volunteers time for the Susan Komen St. Louis office and Race for the Cure. Todd also served as a youth minister in the Diocese of Belleville (1999-2010). He is pursuing a graduate degree in College Student Personnel Administration from SIUE.
