Academic and Personal Support

SIUE offers a range of academic and personal support to help students succeed at all times of the year. From health and wellness, to tutoring and future planning, SIUE offers a variety of services in order to make your time at the University pleasant and beneficial.

Your e-ID is the username you will use to log in to your SIUE email, Blackboard and CougarNet (you can also use your student ID number to log in to CougarNet). You will use CougarNet to register, pay your bill and more.

We want you to be a successful student and excel in your summer classes. Take advantage of the support offered through Instructional Services to learn effective study strategies, get individual or small group math tutoring, improve your public speaking and speech writing skills, and more. The Career Development Center (CDC) is available to help interested students acquire the information and skills necessary to transition from the university into suitable careers. For a full list of services, visit the CDC.

Disability Support Services is dedicated to providing curricular and co-curricular accommodations to students with disabilities at SIUE. From health, mobility, learning disabilities and more, SIUE is able to accommodate all who might need assistance while on campus. Counseling Services actively promotes the personal, social, emotional and cognitive growth of SIUE students through individual counseling, counseling groups, healthy living workshops, consultation and referral. Counseling Services pays special attention to ongoing issues that affect college students today in order to build a better experience for all SIUE students. A benefit of being an SIUE student is the availability of Health Service. Health Service offers a variety of clinical and testing needs from physician services, women’s health, STI testing, allergy injections and much more. Parking & Directions

Current Students: If you already have a parking permit for the 2014-2015 academic year, you don't need to purchase a separate summer permit.

Visiting Students: You can purchase a summer 2015 parking permit for $55. Once you have registered for summer classes, you can buy your permit online or in person. Parking Services is in Rendleman Hall, Room 1113.
